anyone know about running nos with alcohol? should you have a seperate cell with gas for the nitrous or alcohol through the carb and plate?

thats what worries me i have seen alot of motors go pop because of nitrous, but some have nno trouble.. and i know my luck... Rolling Eyes Very Happy

With higher compression and a good shot of nitrous, watch your head gaskets as that is what usually blows out due the increased pressure the nitrous causes. I know that is what happened to my 377 when Bob
Moore was doing a 300 shot and Jason Dorn's 434 as boh motors have over 14.5:1 compression with no nitrous

Normally a 250 shot you should be ok. Anything over that and you need your block O ringed, and copper head gaskets. My self i don't know i couldn't afford a little burp and lose a motor.
